  1. Collection, processing, use and storage of personal data

We protect your data. All personal data is collected, processed and used in accordance with the applicable provisions on the protection of personal data primarily for the purpose of the services you have ordered and for processing your enquiries. Third parties will only be provided with the stored data in the manner described in this declaration. Naturally, no personal data will be passed on to advertising companies.

Your data will be stored in personal form only for as long as is necessary for the purposes for which it is processed or until the expiry of any warranty, guarantee, limitation and statutory retention obligations, unless otherwise specified in these data protection provisions. Data within the scope of an enquiry (no business process arises as a result) will be deleted after 6 months. Data generated within the scope of a business process is stored for a period of 7 years. However, a longer retention of data may result from a specific emerging procedure.

In the course of operating our website, we use software service providers and agencies that may gain access to your personal data in the course of their activities.   • Google Maps

We use the Google Maps API service on our microsites. This service is a service of Google, Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. By integrating the service on our site, at least the following data is transmitted to Google, Inc.: IP address, time of the visit to the website, screen resolution of the visitor, URL of the website (referer), the identifier of the browser (user agent) and search terms. The data transfer takes place regardless of whether you have a user account with Google via which you are logged in, or whether there is no user account for you. If you are logged in, this data is directly assigned to your account. If you do not want the assignment to your profile, you must log out before activating the button.   • Youtube

We have recorded YouTube videos on our website, which are stored on “www.youtube.com” and can be played directly from our website. These are all integrated in the so-called “extended data protection mode”, so that no data about you as a user is transmitted to YouTube if you do not play the videos. Only when you play the videos are YouTube cookies stored on your computer and data transmitted to Google, Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA, as YouTube operator. When videos stored on YouTube are played, at least the following information is transmitted to Google, Inc.: the IP address and cookie ID, the specific address of the page we visited, the language setting of the browser, the system date and time of the call and the identifier of your browser. The transfer of data takes place regardless of whether you have a user account with Google to which you are logged in or whether you do not have a user account. If you are logged in, this data is directly assigned to your account. If you do not want to be associated with your profile, you must log out before activating the button. YouTube or Google, Inc. stores this data as usage profiles and uses it for purposes of advertising, market research and / or tailored website design. Such an evaluation is carried out in particular (also for users who are not logged in) in order to provide needs-based advertising and to inform other users about their activities on our website.   • Facebook Fanpage – Page Insights

Facebook provides page insights to our site. Page insights are aggregated data that helps us understand how people interact with our site.

Page insights may be based on personal data collected in connection with an individual’s visit to or interaction with our site and its content.   Regarding the Page Insights Addendum for the data controller:

  • Facebook Ireland Limited (“Facebook Ireland”) and we are joint controllers of insights data. This Page Insights Addendum sets out the respective responsibilities of Facebook Ireland and you with respect to the processing of insights data.
  • Facebook Ireland agrees to assume primary responsibility under the GDPR for the processing of insights data and to comply with all obligations under the GDPR with respect to the processing of insights data (including but not limited to Articles 12 and 13 GDPR, Articles 15 to 22 GDPR and Articles 32 to 34 GDPR).   • Facebook Plugins

Our website uses social plugins (“plugins”) of the social network facebook.com, which is operated by Facebook Inc., 1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA (“Facebook”). The plugins are marked with a Facebook logo or the addition “Facebook Social Plugin”. When you call up a web page of our website that contains such a plugin, your browser establishes a direct connection with the Facebook servers.   • Facebook Pixel

On our website, we use the Pixel analysis tool from Facebook Inc, 1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA (“Facebook”). This service allows us to track user behaviour after they have been directed to our website by clicking on a Facebook ad. This allows us to evaluate the effectiveness of Facebook ads and optimise future advertising efforts. The data collected is anonymous for us and does not provide any information about the identity of the user. However, the data is stored and processed by Facebook in such a way that an association with the respective user profile is possible and Facebook can use the data for advertising purposes in accordance with the Facebook Data Usage Policy (https://www.facebook.com/about/privacy).   • Instagram

Functions of the Instagram service are integrated on our pages. These features are provided by Instagram Inc, 1601 Willow Road, Menlo Park, CA, 94025, USA.   1. Collection and processing of anonymous data -log files

Every time a user accesses our website, i.e. every time a file is retrieved or attempted to be retrieved from this server, data about this process is stored in a log file. This data is not personal; we can therefore not trace which user has accessed which data. We also do not attempt to collect this information.

In detail, the following data record is stored for each retrieval:

  • Name of the retrieved file
  • Date and time of the retrieval
  • Data volume transferred
  • Message whether the retrieval was successful
  • Message why the retrieval may have failed
  • The name of your internet service provider
  • Your computer’s operating system and browser software
  • The website from which you are visiting us.

All the above-mentioned data is evaluated for statistical purposes by us and by service providers commissioned by us. We use this data to make our website even better for you.
